Join instructor Rod Andres every Saturday in April, for four consecutive 3-hour classes exploring special firing techniques: wood firing, saggar firing and raku. In the first session, participants will hand build low-fire clay vessels to be fired (and will have time in subsequent classes to make work for each new techique), or they may bring up to two small pieces of their own for each firing session.
Saturdays, April 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Registration grants access to the studio on these class days only – monthly access is available for an additional fee.
Materials and firing are included in the registration fee. This fee is nonrefundable (except in the form of store credit), unless the class is cancelled.
Participants are expected to provide their own tools.
