    Rated 1 out of 5 by Pat324 from Worthless Junk The very first time that I locked this safe, I was unable to unlock it, even using the keys. Fortunately, I had not yet put any important documents inside. So I returned it to the retailer. I will try another manufacturer next time.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicc from Awful! Do Not Buy Do not buy any of the models that look like this! The lock and plastic lever to open the lid are literally garbage. The lock like others got stuck halfway. I had to go over to the locksmith so they could shave off the top of one of the keys so I could unlock it. Even with that, the plastic lever to press to open the lid seems so flimsy. You have to pull it very hard and I am not sure how long the plastic breaking sound is going to hold up.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by Darryl from Defective Latch Mechanism The safe is heavy and seems well built except for the latching mechanism where you press upward on the black plastic release lift to hear a click. Unfortunately the black plastic release broken. My safe is still locked but unable to open. My safe is about 4 years old and has been opened less than a dozen times the past 4 years.

I do not see how this safe is waterproof as I am able to lift the lid a hair and that should be enough to allow water in.
